Moscow city authorities have chosen Sokolniki and Gorky parks to host the Russian counterpart to London’s Hyde Park, famous for its Speakers Corner, a city government official said on Thursday.
“Of four possible venues… we decided to choose two – Sokolniki Park and Gorky Park, regional security department chief Alexei Mayorov said.
Only a certain part of those parks will be set aside for the “speakers corner,” he noted.
