Two Vietnamese women allegedly exploited as sex slaves have been freed from a brothel in Moscow, police said Friday.

Police said the women were found inside the building of a former hotel, where the underground brothel was based.

The imprisoned women told police that the organisers of the brothel had offered them work at a textile factory in Russia. Then they were taken to Moscow, where their documents were confiscated and they were forced into prostitution, police said.
