An independent UK commission on pension reform under ex-pension minister Lord Hutton has called for a major overhaul of the public sector pensions. Lord Hutton’s commission tabled its final review this week following a nine-month analysis of the current pension schemes for civil servants, nurses, teachers, the police, the military, the firefighters and other public sector staff.
