Some 60,000 umbrellas were stolen late Thursday night in an audacious heist in the south of Moscow. Five armed bandits stormed the Tvin Star warehouse, subdued and tied the warehouse guards, before loading the large haul of various makes of umbrellas into trucks and fleeing the scene of the crime. Police managed to apprehend one of the umbrella thieves, who hailed from Tajikistan. The haul has been valued at more than 4 million rubles.
