About 2,500 people were evacuated on Thursday from the Urals village of Urman following a fire at an ammunition depot, local police said on Thursday.
The fire broke out when artillery shells exploded in a loading area of the depot in the Bashkortistan region.
A fire-fighting train, two Emergencies Ministry planes and three robots have been deployed to put out the fire.
