MOSCOW, July 31 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has confirmed the death of two people in a collision of a boat with a barge on the Moskva River.
“Divers have raised the body of the second dead person from the sunken boat in the area of Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills) – a girl,” spokesman for the EMERCOM main department for Moscow Sergei Lyapin, who is at the scene, told Itar-Tass.
Currently, EMERCOM specialists are trying to remove the sunken boat from under the barge. The barge is slowly moving away from the scene, so that a crane could hook the boat that is on the river bottom.
