MOSCOW / REGIONS – Navy Day. Parades of ships will be held in St. Petersburg, Sebastopol, Baltiysk. Chinese navy men – the crews of the Luoyang frigate and the Zhenghe training ship of the Chinese Navy have become guests of the festive events in Vladivostok.

KRONSTADT – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s wife Svetlana will take part in the Navy Day festive events in Kronstadt.

GRYZLOV’S VISIT TO SLOVENIA

MOSCOW – Speaker of the State Duma lower house of parliament Boris Gryzlov will pay a brief visit to Slovenia during which he will hold talks with the republic’s leadership and take part in memorial events at the Russian Chapel on the Vrsic pass.
