SASKATOON — An Ontario man has been identified as the person killed in the crash of a twin-engined place in Saskatoon on Friday night.Iaroslav Gorokhovski, a 47-year-old man from Embrun, Ont., died at the scene.
The small plane crashed on a street in Saskatoon. Gorokhovski’s family was notified Friday night.The 42-year-old pilot and the 57-year-old co-pilot were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Investigators with Transport Canada, based in Winnipeg, were to begin their work Saturday to determine what caused the crash.According to Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services, emergency crews were called to the Saskatoon International Airport after a report of a light twin plane with one engine out and three people onboard.
