Yuri Temirkanov and his world-famous St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra are flying to the United States at the start of a month-long tour that will culminate in two concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall on April 13 and 14.
The program of the US tour by Russia’s oldest symphony orchestra, to run from March 22 to April 16, features music by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Johannes Brahms and other composers.
