Arab League backs no-fly zone for Libya

The Arab League Foreign Ministers have backed a no-fly zone over Libya to protect the civilians from Gaddafi forces’ airstrikes, diplomats report from a special meeting in Cairo. Algeria, Yemen, Syria and Sudan have opposed the internationalization of the conflict while Egypt and Tunisia had the final say in the voting.
