A video camera that former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev used to make an appeal to the nation during the 1991 coup is to go on exhibit in St. Petersburg.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the unsuccessful coup by Communist hardliners attempt that led to the break-up of the Soviet Union.
The exhibition will be opened on August 19, 2011 in the St. Petersburg museum of political history.
Other exhibits include a handmade tricolor Russian flag made by forces made by opponents of the coup.
