A cow in Siberia’s Irkutsk Region defied nature by climbing to the fifth floor of an apartment building, seeking to escape the love advances of a young bull, rescuers said on Wednesday.
The cow fled the field in the village of Lesogorsk that it was grazing in when the bull started harassing it and rushed into the building, but failed to climb down, the report said.
The bull did not follow it upstairs, but waited by the building’s entrance, adding to the cow’s confusion.
Rescuers had to drag the mooing animal down by tying a rope to its horns and forcing it to descend, they said.
They also had to struggle to keep the agitated bull away during the operation, the report said. It remained immediately unclear whether the bull managed to achieve its objective after the cow left the building.
