Official preliminary results from Haiti have suggested a pop star may be new president.
The current figures show flamboyant singer Michel Martelly will probably win the presidential election in a landslide victory.
Martelly, who has no political background, will be expected to administer the poor and volatile Caribbean country.
His opponent in the second round vote was an experienced political performer.
She was the law professor and former Haitian senator Mirlande Manigat.
