During exercises at their base in Shchyolkovo outside Moscow, officers of the Zubr [Bison] special task force showcased their skills to President Dmitry Medvedev. Later, the president inspected their weaponry, which was put on display for his arrival.
At the training base, President Medvedev watched unit officers assault a multi-story building where suspects had barricaded themselves. The special task force unit also practiced hijacking a car held by armed militia.
