Popular TV host, a famous art critic and editor in chief of Radio “Kultura” Vitaly Wolfe died today at the age of 80. According to “Rossiya 24” TV channel, Wolfe was hospitalized on February 15th, remained conscious, and struggled with the disease to the end.
Vitaly Wolf was an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of historical sciences, laureate of the “Teffi” prize. By Presidential Decree he was awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree.
Wolfe was known primarily as the author of TV shows highlighting talented personalities of the world of art, writers and politicians. All in all, he has over 200 shows to his credit.
