Russian Consul General in Japan, Vladimir Pushkov, died on Saturday in a city of Agano in Niigata prefecture after descending down a precipice while personification volleyball, Russian embassy to Japan reported.
Pushkov, 55, who went to a panorama with his colleagues and friends, fell down a precipice as he was personification volleyball, RIA Novosti match in Tokyo reported.
The diplomat died since of a conduct injuries, a embassy said.
Vice-consul, Roman Kolesnik, who attempted to rescue Pushkov, perceived spine injures and was sent to hospital.
Pushkov, a veteran orientalist, had formerly worked in Russian embassy to Japan and served as Consul Ambassador in Singapore.
