ANKARA, August 28 (Itar-Tass) — Russians can be among the injured in a blast in Kemer, Itar-Tass learnt on Sunday at the private Kemer Yasam Hastanesi hospital where the injured were brought.
“We have checked in five or six people, injured by the blast. Some of them, as far as I know, have insurance policies, written in Russian. These can be Russian, Ukrainian citizens or from other Russian-speaking states,” said a hospital representative. The staff member of the medical establishment could not offer more detailed information.
According to data of the local mass media, the blast thundered at the beach of the Viking Hotel in Kemer. Holidaymakers received insignificant injuries mostly over pebbles that were dashed away by the blast. There were no serious cases. Police experts try to find out the type of the explosive device.
A similar incident took place in Antalya on August 26. A sound grenade exploded at the city beach there. There were no casualties. However, some holidaymakers who swooned over the panic were rendered medical aid on the spot.
