TV Holding Mulls IPO

Television holding UTH Russia, owned by Alisher Usmanov and Ivan Tavrin, may sell shares in an initial public offering in London next month, said two people with knowledge of the plans.

UTH owns channels MuzTV and 7TV. It could offer as much as 15 percent in new and current shares to raise as much as $200 million. The owners want the holding company to be valued at $1 billion at least.

The IPO may be announced on June 21 after preliminary meetings with investors. Credit Suisse Group, Morgan Stanley and Renaissance Capital were selected to manage a possible sale.
