MOSCOW, August 29 (Itar-Tass) —— A massive brawl broke out in south-western Moscow on Sunday evening. The police detained 29 brawlers, the press service of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“About 80 young people participated in a massive brawl on Vernadsky Avenue. Two people were hospitalized,” the press service said.
“Some 29 people were detained,” the press service added. The reasons for the brawl are being investigated. The scuffle was not obviously interethnic, the press service noted. “It is not ruled out that this was football fans (the brawlers), but they were not found to be the fans of some concrete football clubs,” the press service reported.
The detained brawlers were brought to the police stations.
