ITAR-TASS: “MOSCOW, March 15 (Itar-Tass) — President Dmitry Medvedev has met members of the Russian National Olympic team, who won medals at the Vancouver Olympics, in the Kremlin on Monday.
A traditional ceremony of honouring the Olympic medallists numbered the smallest number of participants in the entire history of such meetings. Only 22 sportsmen who managed to win the Olympic awards, ensuring 11th place for the Russian National Olympic team – an unusually low result in the overall Olympic rating, were invited to the Kremlin this time.”
