An explosion occurred at an oil refinery in Iran during a visit by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, media reports said on Tuesday.
A technical problem caused the blast and a subsequent fire, which injured six people, the Fars news agency reported.
Ahmadinejad was not hurt and later appeared on state television to give a scheduled speech
The refinery is in Abadan, south-western Iran, close to the Iraqi border.
